This zodiac sign is positioned in the heart of the Spring season. Days are cloaked in warmth as the sun stretches its rays across the land. Each of our senses are called upon to feel the world around us. Taurus season is a lazy morning, a slow inhale of your favorite scent, a luxiurious bath, and a savory bite of your favorite treat. This is the time where we are reminded to stop and smell the roses of our lives. The spirit of the bull is steadfast and strong, but takes their time and basks in the world around them. We are often overloaded with tasks and obligations that we rush through our days, skip over pleasantries, or postpone things that might be seen as frivolous or self-indulgent.
Take a moment to reflect on the routines of your life. Do you incorporate relaxation or indulgence in your regular routine? Or do those aspects of the day become neglected to focus on other things or other people that you have deemed as more important? What does your idea of a sanctuary look like? This could be a real place or one in your mind. Try to use all of your five senses (or sixth) as possible to describe this environment.
The Spring Bull also asks us to focus on stability and security in our lives. How do you feel safe and secure? Does this feeling come from within, from without, or both? What triggers your insecurities and how do you seek out paths of security in times of need?

Taurus Challenges: materialism, stubbornness, over-indulgence, difficulty with being spontaneous, taking risks, breaking routines
Mantra: “I have…”
Throat chakra: truth, authenticity, speaking up

Feel the earth beneath your toes
Knead them on the knoll
Tiny tendrils stretch and dive
Roots seek an earthly hole
Burrowed deep down in the soil
The damp and dark below
Planted in the earth’s terrain
Feel your magic grow
Rooted, planted, sowed, and seeded
Entwined with rock and dirt
Strong, steady, loyal, grounded
Even when you’ve been hurt
Forge ahead, with a snort or two
Stand firmly in your truth
Dance to a song, linger too long
Give in to your sweet tooth
Embrace the lessons of the bull
Grab life firmly by the horns
Avoid seeing red, when nostrils flare
See the rose and ignore the thorns
Flop on the grass, bask in the sun
Your soul deserves to be nourished
No act is too big or even too small
As long as it’s superbly flourished
